WOMMA, Las Vegas – Where the cool kids are hanging out

We’re out here in Vegas at WOMMA’s 2009 annual conference with Amway, who will be presenting the results of a Nutrilite/AC Milan event we measured for them.

So far the event has been pretty cool. We started the thing off with Guitar Hero/YouTube legend, Freddy Wong, treating us to an ornery bit of guitar (hero) playing. Very impressive. From there, it’s gotten progressively better. We started the day with a general session from academics answering WOM’s toughest questions. After a bit of coffee and a short break to check voicemail, we went into a breakout session with Ford talking about maximizing sponsorships to create conversations, as well as another session talking about leveraging mobile devices for WOM marketing.

Coming up in our day is a nice looking Apple (iTunes) presentation talking about bringing the iTunes experience to Facebook. That should be a hoot…
